Beyond the game
The real Probactrosaurus
It was an iguanodontian close to early hadrosauroids. Its name means "before Bactrosaurus", within the comparison history of duck-billed dinosaurs.
The mouth thus distributed different tasks between its parts. Its position close to the first hadrosauroids allows us to study changes in the diet of duck-billed dinosaurs.
This grouping describes evolutionary relationships. Its members share ancestors; they do not form a chain in which one must turn into another.
