Beyond the game

The real Leaellynasaura

It was a small herbivorous ornithischian. It was described in 1989 based on findings at Dinosaur Cove, an important site in Australian prehistory.

The absence of structure can also be informative. Comparing how the tails were reinforced allows us to recognize differences within a group of related animals.

This grouping describes evolutionary relationships. Its members share ancestors; they do not form a chain in which one must turn into another.
